Kix Citton is a creative, resourceful and service-focused community connector with a strong commitment to collaboration and sustainability. She has a background in outdoor education and a degree in Public Health and Social Policy from the University of Victoria, Kix is the Executive Director of Nanaimo Brain Injury Society.
Kix applies Inclusive Leadership’s Building Bridges steps to her work of bringing diverse groups and individuals together to create healthy and vibrant communities for all. She has used the Building Bridges steps and other Inclusive Leadership skills to design and implement community building projects for businesses, universities, local government and international development agencies.
Kix is founding member of the Inclusive Leadership Co-operative and is currently serving on the board of directors. Kix says, “Inclusive Leadership is a flexible, playful and strong circle of practices that stretch endlessly to include and honour people of all ages and all identities.”
Kix aspires to presence and conspires with change-makers. Kix also applies Inclusive Leadership and the Earth Charter principles to her bountiful organic garden.
