Inclusive Leaders are who the world has been waiting for. A single individual Inclusive Leader is enough for hope to exist. His Holiness Pope Francis has presented his inspiring call for Inclusive Leadership action to people of all faiths, to those who have power as well as those who don’t.
Pope Francis provides illuminating commentary on the world as we currently find it with so many groups of people who have been discarded. He calls for equality, solidarity and tenderness to prevail. “Let us help each other, all together, to remember that the ‘other’ is not a statistic, or a number,” he says. “We all need each other.”
As inclusively oriented leaders, we are part of a world wide movement of so many individuals and groups that are working tirelessly for equality, solidarity, and tenderness to prevail. If you already know you are an Inclusive Leader, know how much your often invisible efforts are appreciated!!! If you are wondering if you are an Inclusive Leader – it’s so easy. All you have to do to be part of this world wide movement of people engaged in on going random acts of inclusion is to start showing up with other inclusively oriented adults, children and youth in all the places you live, learn and lead in your community. Inclusive Leaders share leadership where ever we go, building welcoming, inclusive and sustainable life-enriching communities. So long as what you are doing grows from inclusive values of safety, respect, freedom of choice and joy then then Yes – you and I and we ARE the Inclusive Leaders the world has been waiting for!
